SIBA BeerX – (14th and 15th March)
The Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) BeerX event is the UK’s biggest beer and brewing trade show and attracts more than 2,000 of the UK’s brewers and brewing industry delegates.
With seminars, panel debates, industry keynote speakers and a wealth of networking opportunities alongside the expansive brewing trade show, the show is a must for brewing industry professionals. The exhibition, which comes to Liverpool for the first time in 2018, also includes the National Brewing Awards on 15th March.

Liverpool Business Fair – (20th March)
Now in its seventeenth year, the Liverpool Business Fair will this year return to Anfield Stadium, the home of Liverpool Football Club. Attracting around 70 exhibitors and more than 700 delegates, it is the ideal way for businesses to network with new and existing contacts, source new suppliers and gain access to free business advice and information. The business fair features workshops and seminars, free one-to-one business clinics, start-up support and the opportunity to ‘ask the experts’ across a range of sectors.

Binary Festival – (22nd March)
Celebrating innovators, inventors, leaders, makers and creators of our future, the second Binary Festival will take place in Hinterlands at Northern Lights and puts the city’s digital community centre stage. With two yet-to-be confirmed keynote presentations and a selection of interactive Gatherings – from tea and wine tasting, to Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Think Tanks and Digital Storytelling sessions – to choose from, there is plenty to experience and learn from. FPS EXPO 2018 – (18th and 19th April)
An award-winning annual event and the leading event for the oil distribution industry in the UK and Republic of Ireland, FPS Expo brings together more than 150 exhibitors and attracts a worldwide audience of thousands. Uniting leading industry figures and companies, the show seeks to facilitate the review new products and services from the supply chain, look at innovations, discuss best practice and identify business opportunities.

International Business Festival 2018 – (12th – 28th June)
The biennial International Business Festival is the world’s biggest business event, which returns to the city in June. Running from 12th – 28th the festival welcomes the global marketplace and gives businesses space, support and expertise to help them make connections and do deals. This year’s festival features the International Marketplace, where more than 100 businesses, organisations and institutions will be showcasing their offer to buyers, investors and potential partners, a whole host of events and conferences, a Festival Incubator offering access to practical workshops, how-to sessions and expert advice and the Innovation Hub, where delegates will be able to explore the latest innovation and trends in business. This year’s world-class speakers at the event include Cherie Blair CBE, QC, Metro Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, Steve Rotheram, Michael Heseltine and Carolyn Fairbairn, Director-General of CBI.

7th EuCheMS Chemistry Congress – (26th – 30th August)
The European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences or EuCheMS this year brings the 7th EuCheMS Chemistry Congress to Liverpool. With a theme of ‘Molecular frontiers and global challenges’, the conference features five days of scientific and technical sessions, plenary lectures, oral and poster communications, keynote speakers and roundtable discussions, as well as networking opportunities, an exhibition and a social programme and is set to attract more than 2,000 of Europe’s leading chemical scientists as well as policy makers, students and educators.
