Grand National 2017

The Randox Health Grand National Festival 2017 is returning to the iconic Aintree racecourse, with a fantastic line up of racing and entertainment.

The festival, which will take place Friday 6th – Sunday 8th April, will give visitors a chance to witness action-packed racing – with some of the most famous fences in horseracing history such as Becher’s Brook and Canal Turn.

This year, visitors will also be able to take a free tour of the course, so they can see it up-close whilst being chauffeured around in their own buggy!

There’ll be plenty to do away from the racing as well, with live music over the weekend including sets from Liverpool-native band The Lightening Seeds, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley – who will be entertaining crowds in the Red Rum garden with a DJ set.

This year will also see the return of the Style Award, with visitors battling it out to be crowed fashion icon of the festival! Judges for this year’s Style Award include Olympic gold medallist Sam Quek; singer Laura Wright; executive hair stylist for Barbara Daley hair & beauty, Andrea Daley; and a fashion stylist who is yet to be announced!

With so much happening, this year’s Grand National is a must for any fan of horse racing – or just those who love a good party!
