Hidden Gems: Ziferblat

This week we have the latest instalment in our Hidden Gems blog series. With brilliant bars, restaurants and music venues popping up all around the city, it can be difficult to know which to visit first!

This week’s choice, Ziferblat has two spots in Liverpool – at the well-known Albert Dock and St Paul’s Square in the bustling business district.

However, regardless of which Ziferblat you visit, you’re sure to enjoy your time there. And with quality local coffee sourced from 92 Degrees you know you’re guaranteed a good brew.

But there’s something that makes Ziferblat a little different to your regular coffee shop: you pay not for what you receive, but for the time you spend there! All food and drink is free, as is usage of the board game collection, record player, piano and wi-fi. The rate is only 8p per minute – so you quite literally have plenty of time to spend!

Ziferblat is more than good value for money, however. It is, in its own words, an ‘extension of your own home’. The comfy ‘sitting room’ space makes you feel like you’re popping in for a catch up with an old friend, rather than visiting a café. The kitchen area allows you to help yourself to the unlimited tea, coffee, juice, cakes, cereal and fruit – making you feel right at home.

So if you’re looking for a different way to experience a coffee shop visit, make sure to call in to Ziferblat while you’re in the city. Both our Merchants Quarters and Irwell Chambers apartments are near to one of the Ziferblat’s, so you can definitely squeeze in a visit if you’re staying with us soon!
