Liverpool’s Pier Head Festival Village is back for the third year running and it has brought five  rides to tempt thrill-seekers and adrenaline junkies coming to the city, alongside it’s much loved mix of music, art and culture.

Open until 9th September, seven days a week from 11am – 11pm, there are activities and attractions to entertain the whole family. As well as its well-established kids activities and entertainment, art galleries and markets featuring artisanal products, the attraction – this year dubbed ‘Thrill Village’ – offers city residents and visitors along the chance to experience high-flying rides that tower over Liverpool’s iconic waterfront.

Unmissable Rides at Pier Head Festival Village

Air Max

New to Pier Head Festival Village for 2018, this ride will take you from zero to 65 mph in just two seconds – try catching your breath after that!

No Limits

Feel the force as this ride propels you through the air at a jaw dropping G-force of 4.5gs – this one is only for the brave!

Magic Mouse Rollercoaster

A fast-paced, spinning twist on a traditional funfair rollercoaster, the Magic Mouse is the largest travelling ride of its kind in the UK.

Sky Swing

Experience the this 60-metre tall swing attraction, the tallest portable attraction of its kind in the world. Not for the faint-hearted, you’ll be launched 2000 feet into the air before you drop.

See Liverpool from all angles on the world’s tallest portable swing attraction, which returns this year reaching a sky-scraping height of 60m. Riders will reach up to 2,000ft before they drop!

Top Buzz

Not afraid to get dizzy? Let this ride spin you right round, swinging you forwards and backwards in your seat while also being propelled at an angle. Phew!

Young Adventurers

For younger thrill seekers there is the Inflatable Village, which includes one of Europe’s longest inflatable assault courses and the Urban Beach and Village Beach Bar, which has a child-friendly hub so grown-ups can unwind as they play.
